Gram-ma offers a unique approach to language practice through interactive voice synthesis and recognition, aimed at enhancing grammatical understanding and conversational skills.

The application features three distinct modes:

• Reference: Users can search for grammatical rules and sample sentences, with options to tag them for later review or mark them as studied.
• Review: This mode allows users to practice their tagged content, utilizing voice recognition for interactive learning.
• Collaborate: Users can contribute by creating their own grammar explanations and sample sentences, facilitating discussion and correction among contributors.

At this stage, Gram-ma primarily supports English speakers learning Japanese and Japanese speakers learning English. Users may switch to other languages such as French, Spanish (Castilian and Mexican), Italian, Chinese (Mandarin), and Korean; however, users will need to input their own grammar and sample sentences where community content is not yet available. This initial focus aims to build a solid foundation before expanding the library further.

The application's voice recognition capabilities allow for on-the-go practice using a Bluetooth headset, making it convenient for users to integrate language learning into their daily routines.

To support its development, Gram-ma incorporates in-app advertisements, though users have the option to purchase an ad-free subscription for $1 per month. This subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Users can manage their subscriptions through their Account Settings.
